Technology For Distance Learning at Stratford ISD
The district will provide ONLINE distance learning for students in grades K-12. Some of our lower grade levels have chosen to use Paper Packets for distance learning, you will be notified if your child falls into that category. If you do not have access to the internet for distance learning, a Paper Packet will be available. Teachers using ONLINE distance learning will use Google Classroom, Edgenuity, Khan Academy, and Zoom to facilitate lessons and classwork. If your child has access to a desktop computer, laptop, Chromebook or iPad, they will be capable to completing course work on their personal devices.
If they DO NOT have access to the devices listed, we encourage a parent to come check out a school device to use until onsite learning resumes.
All students and parents have already signed the Technology Acceptable Use Policy for district technology use.
If at any time your child needs their accounts reset or have technical issues please email Ashly Lavake at ashly.lavake@stratfordisd.net.
